ReadyTab — Domain Authority & Backlink-Gap Research
Where authority stands now, what the competitors have, the exact spam links (with pages), and the path to real DA
DataForSEO Backlinks API · vs Momentum · Tabliss · Speed Dial 2
0. The honest frame
"Domain Authority" (DA) is a Moz score, not a Google metric. Google doesn't rank on DA — it's a proxy Moz/Ahrefs compute from your backlink profile. Raising DA isn't the goal in itself; it's the byproduct of (1) fixing on-page/technical signals and (2) earning relevant, quality backlinks. What you actually want is more high-quality referring domains, because that's what both Google and the DA score reward.
site:readytab.cloud results (thin index — fix first)
1a. The link list — index records vs. what's actually live (important correction)
Correction from verification: I fetched each of the "spam" link pages directly — and they no longer contain your link. Every one of those domains now redirects to a single site, cvgorilla.com (an SEO/link-selling agency), and that page contains zero mentions of "readytab"; several paths return 404. The rows below are records DataForSEO's index captured when the link existed (that's how it knows the anchor text) — but the links are gone from the live web now. The index still holds the old crawl; Google and DataForSEO recrawl on a lag. So if you visited these URLs, you would not find your link — because it isn't there anymore. This makes the "spam" much less of a liability than it first looked; the pages are dead/redirected. The only live, real backlinks you have are the 5 at the bottom of this table.

1b. How your site ended up on the spam pages (the exact answer)
Look at rows 1–23: every single spam link sits on the identical URL path — /all/2409/22.html — and every one carries the same anchor text. The literal anchor text is:
High Quality Dofollow Backlinks DA 50 PA 40 Premium PBN Network Service readytab.cloud Rank First Pa…
That is ad copy for a paid link-selling service, injected word-for-word into the link text. This is the fingerprint of a spam Private Blog Network (PBN):
One operator runs a network of junk domains (casino/poker/betting mirrors like betwinnermirror, bestnz-poker; real-estate spam like homesforsaleoldgreenwichct; and generic "news"/content-farm domains), all serving the same auto-generated page on the same path.
They bulk-place links on every low-authority site they can, mostly to sell them to paying customers — and they also dump tons of free "sample" links (like yours) to make the network look active and sizable to prospective buyers. You are link fodder in their shop-window, not a target.
They found you through your public Chrome/Firefox store listing — your homepage URL is public, they scrape new extensions, and auto-inject the URL with their template anchor. It's indiscriminate and automated.
It is not caused by anything you did. You didn't buy or request these — the pattern (identical path + identical paid-service anchor + gambling/parking domains) is unambiguously not something a site owner does to themselves.
Does it hurt you? Mostly it's wasted noise — Google ignores weak junk links 95% of the time. The risk is that a bulk scheme can look like *you* paid for links, which is why you should proactively disavow the 20–70 bucket (see §3). That removes any ambiguity and stops them diluting the equity your legitimate links pass. No need to panic — this is extremely common for young extensions, and Google's algorithms are built to ignore it.

Baseline. ~23 of the 28 links are spam-tier; only ~5 real (chrome-stats, extensionauditor, stackscope, postyourstartup, uicomet-launches).
Verdict: young, under-built, and partly noise — not a deficit of product. The gap to the smallest credible competitor is ~18× and is closed via directory listings + shareable assets, not paid schemes.
Tier 1 — "GOLD": high-rank, clean domains that link a competitor but NOT you (best outreach)
The multi-competitor entries (link to 2–3) are highest-priority — clearly link-hungry on this category and reachable where a directory covers you too.

3. The approach — what actually raises DA (ordered by leverage / effort)
Fix the index + technical first (this week — you control it 100%):
site:readytab.cloud returns 0 results — Google hasn't indexed your pages. Submit the sitemap in Google Search Console and verify ownership first.
You're in 10 languages — add hreflang so each locale can index independently.
Defuse the spam links (this month): disavow rows 1–24 from §1a (the 20–70 spam buckets) in Google's Disavow Links tool, and the uicomet one on review. A clean profile beats a bigger-but-spammy one.
Blitz the directories that already list your competitors (highest hit-rate): work down the SILVER list — saashub, alternative.to / alternativeto, altapps, sugggest, ailternative, extpose, chrome-stats (already there), extension.vn, freeware-base, startupalternatives, extensionauditor. Most accept self-submission. Track status in a sheet.
Launch-style authority (ongoing, since PH is done): you've already launched Product Hunt — confirm the PH listing links back to readytab.cloud (it's one of your few real links), add Show HN, Indie Hackers, and keep maker-directory listings (postyourstartup, startup alternative) current.
Shareable assets for organic editorial links (the compounding lever):
A "best browser new-tab extension" comparison/roundup page (you have /compare/) — make it genuinely best-in-class so roundup sites cite it.
An open free tool — e.g. a "check if your browser new tab is tracking you" privacy checker. Free-tool funnel links land naturally on lauraearnest, informatique-mania, byman, zeemly, geekzone, ghacks-type sites.
DE digital PR: freeware-base.de, ghacks.net, German tech press for the "mitarbeiterportal" / "schnellzugriff" angle that already ranks in DE.
Competitor-specific outreach (human, high-value): the GOLD single-competitor blogs (todoist, lauraearnest, informatique-mania, byman, toolradar) — offer a ready-to-publish comparison or guest angle, not a blanket "please link."
4. Recommended SEO research queue (what to run next)
Technical + indexing audit of readytab.cloud (Site Audit / crawl): indexed pages, renderability, meta, schema, perf. — the foundation everything depends on. I can run the crawl.
Backlink-gap refinement per exact page: pull the specific pages on phdeck/saashub/alternative that reference a competitor, so outreach names a concrete URL ("you already list X, add ReadyTab here").
Keyword-to-page map (from the US/GB/DE data): assign each target keyword to a landing URL so the equity you build lands on the pages that rank.
Content-opportunity scan: the GOLD/SILVER roundup sites publish often — watch and be first to offer ReadyTab + a comparison when they refresh.
5. Additional research — free places to list ReadyTab (this is your DA flywheel)
Because your live profile is nearly empty (5 real links) and your competitors' links come mostly from directories + roundups, the single highest-ROI move is packing ReadyTab into the free listings below. Every one is free to submit (paid accelerators exist on some — you don't need them). Note on "free": several famous old lists are stale — BetaList is NO LONGER free (all submissions now paid; it explicitly says so), and most "100+ free directories" pages are lead-magnets for $99–500 submission services. The list below is cross-checked against 2026 sources.

Apple Safari Add-ons
Safari ships via Apple App Store — needs a $99/yr Apple dev account; defer unless Safari reach matters (DR 100 if you do it).
How to work it without it feeling like 700 forms: prepare one product-kit once (name, 10-word tagline, 50-word short + 300-word long description, 512px logo, 2–3 screenshots 1280×800, pricing line, feature list incl. Manifest V3 + Edge/Brave/Firefox + 10 languages), then submit 2–3 per day for ~2 weeks. Spread it out — Google reads a sudden burst of 25 directory links as less natural than a steady drip. Track each in one sheet (site, date, status, listing URL). This plus fixing the index (§3) is the free flywheel from 5 real links toward 25–40 in ~2 months.
Bottom line: your DA is low mostly because (a) you're new and (b) ~23 of your 28 recorded links are PBN spam that now redirects to a dead page — clean those, fix indexing, then systematically add the ~25 free listings in this section, and confirm your Product Hunt listing links back. That takes you from 5 real links toward 25–40 legitimate referring domains in ~2 months. You don't outspend Momentum; you out-execute on the directory + content layer Tabliss used to quietly reach 512.
